NC Mountain Fall Color 10/8/15

NC Mountain Fall Color Reports 2015 reports on October 8, 2015:

In the last two days, we drove 150 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway! Best color is now in elevations of 3,500-5,000 feet. Highest ridges (like Craggy Gardens, Graveyard Fields and Waterrock Knob) are past peak – but still plenty of color to come in the valley views from these areas. Most of the leaves along the Parkway are still green. Best color was near Looking Glass Rock (pic), Linville Falls and in the Devil’s Courthouse area.

Great fall color is developing south of Richland Balsam area.
