National Geographic reported on the fall migration of the Blackpoll Warbler. Using tracking devices it was learned that they migrate from Northern Canada to South America over the Atlantic Ocean. They travel three straight days without sleeping or eating. They even absorb organs they don’t need such as their intestines.
