Natural History Wanderings

January 16 to 19, 2015  is the Morro Bay Winter Bird Festival. There will be many field trips and presentations.  Registration is open and trips enrollment is limited.

•    Scott Weidensaul, author of the wonderful Living on the Wind and other award-winning books on birds, nature and history, will be the Keynote Speaker Saturday, January 17.  His talk is titled Messing Around with Birds (For Fun and Science).
•      Shawneen Finnegan, the first ever Festival Artist, will give a talk on The Insanity of Obsessive Birders (according to her, she would know) at the Sunday program, January 18.
•      Family Day, with free or low cost events for families, will be on Saturday, January 17.
