 Superior National Forest has a new fall color report for 10/3/14

October is here!  An inch or so of rain pulled many of the leaves down over the last day and a half, but there are still plenty of fall leaves.  You’ll need to put up with some areas that are leafless, but this weekend still promises you a beautiful autumn experience between showers and (eek!) snow flurries.  Color is about 90-50% of peak right now, and dropping.
