Rio Grande National Forest has the following new fall color reports

Conejos Peak District   2013 Photos   September 24 – colors have peaked, further south colors have not yet peaked, but they are changing fast.

Divide District                2013 photos    2014 photos   September 24 Aspen change above Creede is about 95%, most leaves have fallen. Lower elevations about 75 – 100% have changed color. Good viewing areas: Silver thread byway, above Wagon Wheel Gap and Silver Thread campground.

Saguache District           2013 photos   2014 photos September 23 –  the leaves are at 85% to 90% in the western part of our area.  The hills south of Hwy 114 are in full color as well.  This weekend should be the optimum time for fall color viewing.
