The San Francisco Bay Osprey Days will take place at the Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve. The free event features 4 guided car tours of nesting sites on the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard cranes and walking tours in the Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve and a lunchtime “citizen science” gathering at the Preserve visitors center with slide shows featuring images by Eric Dugan and Tim Buckley, as well as an osprey nest viewing boat trip Sunday morning.
