Washington Wildflower Reports 6/8/14

Lake Twenty-two  — Jun 08, 2014  North Cascades — Mountain Loop Highway
Lots of Marsh Marigold in bloom at the south end of the lake.
Crystal Peak — Jun 08, 2014 — Mt. Rainier — NE – Sunrise / White River
Mountain flowers are coming to bloom, such as Glacier Lilies, Bear grass, Trillium and many small flowers.
Notch Pass — Jun 08, 2014 — Olympics — East
Lots of flowers blooming now, including the first Queen’s cup lilies I’ve seen this season!
Squak Mountain — Jun 08, 2014 — Issaquah Alps — Squak Mountain
There were salmonberries in all stages of ripeness and plenty of small wildflowers.
Little Saint Helens — Jun 08, 2014 — Snoqualmie Pass — North Bend Area
Wildflowers we saw and could name are Beargrass, Yellow violet, trillium, and marsh marigold.
Gold Creek — Jun 08, 2014 — South Cascades
The mountains were out in all their glory and there were wildflowers the whole way. The big sloping meadow where the trail meets the road was solid spring beauties with some large patches of glacier lilies.
Miller Peak — Jun 08, 2014 — Snoqualmie Pass — Salmon La Sac/Teanaway
Really nice there now – lots of wildflowers
Happy-Panther — Jun 07, 2014 — North Cascades — North Cascades Highway
Pleased with all the variety of wildflowers including Indian paintbrush, oxeye daisy, Miners lettuce, red columbine, and wild Strawberries.
Union Bay Nature Area — Jun 07, 2014 — Puget Sound and Islands
Sun shining, birds galore, and flowers all over.
Icicle Gorge View Trail — Jun 07, 2014 — Central Cascades — Leavenworth Area
Wildflowers were blooming.
