Antelope Valley Wildflower Update April 2, 2014

DesertUSA has the following report for Antelope Valley  April 2, 2014

 Went out to the poppy reserve, Monday, April 1st. Still nothing there to speak of, but if you go down 110 street between ave G and D there is tons of color.

    Hi Sandy, This reminds me of the many, many times I have been to the Poppy Reserve and seen nothing and the immediate area around is in full bloom. Spencer

      You are absolutely right. Flowers don’t read signs or grow only in protected areas. I have also had some of my best flower finds in relatively unknown or unmarked areas.
