The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the Recreation and Park Commission and the Planning Commission has voted to go ahead with Golf Course construction at Sharp Park. The decision ignores the habitat damage to threatened Red-legged Frogs and San Francisco Garter Snakes. The commission voted to approve the work without a full environmental impact study as requested by Wild Equity Institute. Opponents of the commission’s decision plan to file a lawsuit.
