Natural History Wanderings

I went to the UC- Berkeley Botanical Garden and as expected many plants are now in bloom. I spent most of the  time in the California Native Section, but also saw interesting bloom in the South Africa, New World Desert and Asian sections. I never made it to the back of the garden or the redwood section. It was bright and sunny which made photography somewhat challenging. Even though I have photographed California Poppies many times I continue to photograph them in part motivated by George Lepp who has done a show and book just on California Poppies.
