Anza Borrego Wildflower Report: Chuckwalla Canyon Wash 3/18/14

Borregohiking.com has a new report for Chuckwalla Canyon Wash in Anza-Borrego:

The chuckwalla canyon wash is best hiked from the Lizard Canyon.The wash is dry as was expected, but some flowers made it anyway.The hike ends at the North Pinyon peak.

Flowers they saw included Bigelow' Monkeyflower, Fremont Pincushion, California Groundsel, Wild Heliotrope, Desert Agave, Pygmy Gold Poppy, Thick-leaved Groundsel, Euphorbia, Anderson Boxhorn and Pierson's Brown-eyed Evening Primrose.See trip description and flowers at links below:http://borregohiking.com/hiking/chuckwalla_wash.htmlhttps://picasaweb.google.com/borregoefmer/ChuckwallaWash
