Anza-Borrego: Lower Willows 3/14/14

Borregohiking.com  has a report for the the Lower Willows in Anza-Borrego:

The lower willows is a nice place to hike right now.
One of the greener places in the park.

The road is very good up to third crossing, I recommend some ground clearance.
Some soft sand at the start of the dirt road.

The Willows are blooming at the moment (2 species), the Cholla are real early this year.

We tried to get to the actual spring, but that’s impossible right now.
You should be able to get to the Palm oasis.
The hiking trail is almost fully restored, except for the sign, that is still missing.
