The Calphoto Yahoo group has a wildflower report for Waddell Creek in Big Basin Redwoods State Park:

Given our February rains, wildflowers beneath our local redwood forest understories,  have blossomed forth with usual species of western trillium, milk maids, redwood violet, redwood sorrel, forget-me-nots, and fetid adder-tongue, as well as various fungi.  Thus did a 10 mile hike this last Sunday into Waddel Creek of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, then coded up this html feature on my website with 18 modest images. http://www.davidsenesac.com/_a-z_evad/WaddelCr/waddelcr_3-9-14.html
