Awesome Autumn Plumas County Northern California had the following fall color report for highway 89 today in neighboring Sierra County.

Truckee and back yesterday via Highway 89. The aspen along the road from about 15 miles north of Truckee all the way to Sierraville are spectacular yellows and golds right now. Then, going across the Sierra Valley, the oaks on the hillsides surrounding the valley are a beautiful combination of orange and gold.
