Asheville NC Fall Foliage Color Leaf Report 201 has the following report for October 10, 2013.

This week, find the best color above 4,000 feet elevation. We recently found the best color now at Mt. Mitchell State Park (fully open) and that section of the Blue Ridge Parkway . Another area for color is Rough Ridge on the Parkway near Grandfather Mountain.  A small section of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville closed today due to road erosion.
