Pacific Northwest Wildflowers has new postings for the Washington Cascades. To see detailed flower and animal species lists click each of the links below

August 22, 2013: Area above the Pacific Crest Trail, south of Adams Creek, north of the upper Lewis River and to the moraines at the western base of the Adams Glacier.

August 21, 2013: High Camp Trail and subalpine to alpine slopes uphill to the east of the PCT but north of Adams Creek.

August 21, 2013: Killen Creek Trail

August 20, 2013: Takhlakh Lake

They have also listed one more hikes that doesn’t have an active link yet. This means they haven’t posted the lists yet but will in the very near future. Check back at Wildflower Bloom in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State: 2013 and there will likely be active links for plant and animal lists for the following three hikes:

• August 21, 2013: Pacific Crest Trail from Potato Hill trailhead south 1.6 miles to springs at western tip of lava beds.
