Did Early Birds Have Four Wings?

The journal Nature reported  the study of fossils revealed that at least some of the earliest birds may have had four feathered limbs that they used to stay aloft.

The fossils studied did not clearly prove if the extra set of wings was used for gliding assistance, steering or both. Also as the number of fossil found was small it doesn’t prove that all the earliest birds had four wings.
