The Plumas County Bloom Blog has a wildflower update for the Oakland Camp area by Joe Willis. Wildflowers he found in bloom included Hartweg’s Iris, Checkerbloom, Buttercup, Mule’s Ears, American Dogwood, Deer Brush, Death Camus, Sulfur-flowered Pea, Sticky Cinquefoil, Arnica and , Spotted Coral Rood and Mountain Lady’s Slippers
