Hungry Valley Wildflowers Update

Hungry Valley just posted a new wildflower report today although it is dated 4/18/13

Come and arouse your senses with the dynamic beauty of Hungry Valley. The Poppies are vibrant and glowing in the sunshine and myriad tiny sparkles of color dot the hillsides with exquisite beauty. You will see the scarlet blush of the Desert Paintbrush and cheery Desert Dandelions along the trails, while the violet hues and grapey perfume of Lupine are plentiful in the Grasslands Area and along Powerline. Tidy Tips, Baby Blue Eyes and Davy’s Gilia still prevail on Stipa hillsides accompanied by Comet Blazing Stars, but the Poppy spread grows more lush by the day.
