Calphoto had the following wildflower report for Mt. Tamalpais today:
travelled down Cataract trail and spotted the Calypso Orchids by the firs bridge, travelled down to the seventh, orchids along the trail all the way, interspersed with Western Hounds Tongue, Milk Maids, Buttercups and Shooting stars,. There is a tree down across the trail before the seventh bridge but it is easy enough to walk around Hopped up to Rock Springs, three types of lupine, California Poppy, Popcorn Flower, Goldfields, Cream Cups, Hill lotus, Baby Blue eyes, lots to see, there are hillsides full of lupines between Pantoll and the Laurel Dell parking lot.
