The LA Times reported on a lawsuit filed by beekeepers, environmentalists and consumer protection advocates against the Environmental Protection Agency stating the agency has not done enough to protect pollinators from the use of toxic pesticides. The suit says the agency has not adequately regulated the group of pesticides called neonicotinoids. The neonicotoinoids have been linked to colony collapse in bees and other pollinators.
