Mojave National Preserve posted a new wildflower report for March 15, 2013:
Joshua trees are blooming in profusion on Kelbaker Road north of Kelso, Cedar Canyon Road, Cima Road and Morningstar Mine Road.
Bladderpod can be seen along Kelbaker Road north and south of Kelso.
Desert dandelion are blooming along I-15 near Baker, Calif.
A few brittlebush can be seen blooming along Both I-15 and I-40 along the north and south boundaries of Mojave National Preserve.
Mojave Yucca are blooming along Essex Road and Kelbaker Road south of Kelso Depot.
