Texas Wildflowers: The Woodlands 3/7/13

Wild about Texas Wildflowers has the following report today for The Woodlands (just north of Houston):

While nothing is in great quantities and it is very dry here there is a good variety of wildflowers blooming now. This is the first spring that I am using the small Canon bridge camera, SX50, and I am pleased with the results for such a bright sunny day. You can see the photos at my Spring 2013 gallery here: http://grigsbys.smugmug.com/Texas-Wildflowers/Spring-2013

If my IDs are correct the flowers I saw were Bluebonnets, Blueits, Carolina Jasmine, Crimson Clover, Dew Berry blooms (wild black berries), Fleabane, Groundsel, Low Hop Clover, Lyre Leaf Sage, Persian Clover and Sandwort.
