Today I was birding along the Bay Trail between Point Isabel Regional Park and the Marina in Richmond. No Clapper Rails, Brown Pelicans or Black Oystercatchers today but we did see 43 different birds and were able to identify 40 to species. The Dowitchers, Scaup and Western/Clark’s Grebes were not close enough to get to species. Did watch a group of Crows mob a hapless Turkey Vulture and had good looks at Snowy Egrets successfully hunting.
