The Gray Wolf, known as OR-7, that came into California from Oregon last December 28 has a radio collar and is tracked by biologists. Here are some of their findings and theories about wolves in California reported in the L.A. Times
- went back and forth to Oregon a few times last winter
- has stayed in California since spring
- traveled 3000 miles
- has been as far south as Tehama country
- displayed homing excellent homing abilities
- is probably looking for a mate or pack to join
- possibly other wolves without radio collars may have come to California
- biologists expect more wolves to follow

I just pray that nothing happens to him by mans ignorance or just plain thrill for the kill…like the coyote hunt up in Aiden Ca. on the 9th and 10th of Feb. 2013 …all for a trophy belt buckle…sick down right sick.
