January 14-15, 2013 for the 5th botanical symposium hosted by Northern California Botanists. The 2013 Symposium will be held in the Bell Memorial Union on the campus of the California State University in Chico. Optional botanical workshops will be held on Wednesday, January 16. A 2-day schedule of presentations by working botanists will include sessions on Biogeography, Restoration & Recovery, Redwood and North Coast Botany and Ecology, Non-seed Plants, Propagule Biology of Northern California Seed Plants, Great Basin/Eastern Sierra Botany, and New Discoveries.
