I thought for a change of pace I would report on a rare fish sighting. Bay Nature reported that a 24-inch fish, believed to be a Chinook salmon, seen at least twice this week in Codornices Creek on the Berkeley and Albany border. It not that Chinook Salmon are rare, but rather that it is extremely rare to seeing any fish this size in a small urban creek is extremely rare.
