I can’t believe they named one of the most damaging hurricane’s after me. I don’t think I can add anything that you haven’t read about the Hurricane that the meteorologists and news media have said about the storm itself, the damage and climate change. However, you may not know what it effected birds. National Geographic just such a story: Hurricane Sandy Aftermath: What Happens to the Birds?. It includes:
- What kinds of losses are experienced?
- How some birds react to and survive storms?
- What is the impact on habitats?

Well, Sandy, you do get around a lot! Cover lots of territory, but never
