Hope Valley And Tahoe Area Turning Brown 10/25/12

Here is an excerpt from a report California Photographer posted for Hope Valley and Tahoe area on 10/25/12

The two storms that blew through pretty much ended the Autumn spectacular there (Hope Valley).  Most of the Aspens are either bare or the remaining leaves are brown and shriveled.  The combination of snow, high wind, and cold temperatures did a real number on them.

Up at Tahoe, the trees at Bourne Curve, between Round Hill and Zephyr Cove, look like they were frozen hard just as they were beginning to change.  They are turning brown and have lost their glow.
