Great Smokey Mountains Wildflower Report 7/2/12

 Great Smoky Mountains Association just posted today a new set of wildflower updates for July 2, 2012

Turkey Pen (Beginning to End) – Reclining Saint Andrew’s Cross, Black Cohosh, Basil Bee Balm (1), Rosebay Rhododendron (well past peak) and Wood Nettle.

School House Gap (Beginning to Turkey Pen Trail) – Rosebay Rhododendron, False Fox Glove, Basil Bee Balm, Mountain Saint John’s Wort, Daisy Fleabane, Heal All, Thimbleweed, and Wood Nettle.

Bote Mountain (Beginning to Finely Cane Trail) – Rosebay Rhododendron, Reclining Saint Andrews Cross, Heal All, Hawkweed, Coreopsis, and Red Clover.

Finely Cane (Beginning to End) – Reclining Saint Andrew’s Cross and Rosebay Rhododendron
