Reported by Audublog ~ Rare bird alert: Field Sparrow in Central Los Angeles.
A Field Sparrow has been seen by multiple birders in Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. The Sparrow normally migrates from south to north on the eastern side of the Continental Divide. Male Field Sparrows are extremely loyal to their breeding territories so it is a mystery how one ended up in such a far away place.
