Wildflower tours postponed due to inclement weather

The first weekend of Hungry Valley Wildflower Tours will now begin on April 21st & 22nd due to the Tuesday night rains and predicted precipitation for this weekend.  Blooms have also been quite sparse throughout the area.  There is a slight chance that the Stipa gate may be open on Sunday, but the trail and adjacent grasslands are very fragile after precipitation, and unless things really dry out on Saturday, it will be closed.   Please check back next week for current conditions. http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=21945
