DesertUSA posted the following wildflower report for the area west of Antelope Valley

 “spotted a beautiful large display of poppies west of the Antelope Valley California Poppy Preserve area. If you continue driving west on Lancaster Road past the Poppy Preserve, you will be rewarded with a beautiful sight where 245th Street West and Avenue D meet. Lancaster Road becomes 245th Street West. Just keep driving west.”
