Overfishing Threatens Seabirds

In a follow-up to yesterday’s post Seabirds Face Major Population Declines and Extinction Threats here is a study on the impact of overfishing on seabirds.

Science Daily reported on how overfishing threatens the survival of seabirds.  The study published in Science Magazine studied the impact of fish supplies and birthrates.  They found that all seabirds had a similar drop in birthrate when fish supplies were less than a third of maximum capacity.
