Birding Aquatic Park-Berkeley 3/3/12

Snowy Egret

I went to Aquatic Park in Berkeley, which is next to interstate 80.  The freeway doesn’t seem to bother the birds at least the ones who were there.  I was able to identify 22 species plus Gulls and Hybrid ducks. Monarch Butterflies were in larger numbers than about a month ago. Native Gumplant and Ceanothus were in bloom.  Click Read More for today’s bird list.
