Early Short Wildflower Season At Golden Gate National Parks

An early and short wildflower season in the Golden Gate National Parks predicts the current issue of the Golden Gates Park Conservancy Newsletter. This prediction is base on the early warm temperature, dry weather and what is being seen in the parks. Recommended trails include:

  • Milagra Ridge Trail, Milagra Ridge
  • Notch Trail, Sweeney Ridge
  • West side of Lands End
  • Ecology Trail, between Inspiration Point and El Polin Spring, The Presidio
  • Batteries to Bluffs Trail, Presidio Coastal Bluffs
  • Coastal Trail up Slacker Hill, Marin Headlands
  • Wolf Ridge Trail, Marin Headlands

To learn more about wildflowers in the parks and highlights of each trail go to: March Park E-ventures :: Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
