Good Times To View The Planet Mercury

Feb. 20 to March 12 will be a good time to view the planet Mercury.  It will be moving away from the sun and be visible after sunset.  Also brightly visible in the western sky will be Venus and Jupiter.  The peak brightness will be in the days leading up to and including March 5.  It will then begin fading.

Thanks for posting this link. I’ve spent the evening and morning planning my 20 May trip to shoot the eclipse — currently thinking about joining that with a wildflower excursion in Butterfly Valley of Plumas National Forest.
