Wilderness Land Trust Purchases Last Inholding In Santa Lucia Wilderness

Wilderness Land Trust recently reported that it had acquired a 153-acre private in holding in the Santa Lucia Wilderness . The purchase includes Huff’s Hole which is near one of he main nesting areas for Peregrine falcons and was supportive of their recovery after the banning of DDT. The acquisition which will prevent any development completes the protection of 20, 486 acre Santa Lucia Wilderness.
