Whiskeytown Nat. Recreation Area Approaching Peak Fall Color

Shasta Cascade Area Past Peak

The Shasta Cascade area is past peak according to California Fall Color.  In many areas the leaves are down.  The one exception is Whiskeytown National Recreation area where the trees are showing bright fall colors and are still approaching peak. There are also some areas of color in Butte County and along the  Bizz Johnson Trail.  See full details at: http://www.californiafallcolor.com/?p=1874
