The Journal of Evolutionary Biology reports that moving flowers have a greater variety of insect visitors and have greater seed production. Flowers that wave more visible to insects and therefore attract more pollinators. The one catch is that if a flower is too wobbly insects have trouble landing on it. So the ideal adaptions for flowers are having just the right amount of movement.  Read more at the BBC  Flowers ‘wave’ at passing insects
