Parchers Resort just published a Fall Color Report for 10-8-11 They report:
Overall Conditions
The areas between the 8000ft and 8500ft mark are now turning and should be popping by week’s end if not already whereas some of the areas above that elevation are now at or are just past peak color.
- Weir Pond – Elevation 9592 ft Past Peak (but still gorgeous!)
- Parchers Camp – Elevation 9260 ft Past Peak
- North Lake – Elevation 9255ft Peak or Past Peak
- Lake Sabrina – Elevation 9150 ft Past Peak
- Lake Sabrina Approach – Elevation 9100 ft Peak Color
- Sabrina Camp Groves – Elevation 9000 ft Past Peak
- Surveyor’s Meadow Peak Color
- Aspendell – 8500ft 0-15%
- Cardinal Mine Grove – 8700ft Past Peak (but still amazing!)
- Table Mountain Campground – Elevation 8900ft Peak Color
- Mountain Glen Campground 30-50%
- The Famous Mist Falls on South Fork Bishop Creek 30-50%
- Four Jeffrey Camp Groves 15-30%
- Willow Camp & Tyee Trailhead – Elevation 9065 ft Past Peak
- South Lake – Elevation 9768 ft Peak or Past Peak
