Michael Frye has developed an excellent app for the iPhone from his “Photographer’s Guide to Yosemite” It includes locations, maps, seasonal planning, photo tips and much more. Also once you have put the app on your phone it works without internet access (a big plus in Yosemite where reception is iffy). Michael did a posting today about an update to the app, how it could be used with iPad and that versions are coming out for Android and optimized for iPad. You can read about it at iPhone App Version 1.1

I just got this app and love it! Easy to use and I especially love the sunrise and sunset feature. Get one!
