First Fall Color Report For Eastern Sierra 9/8/11

Parchers Resort just posted their first Fall Color Report for the Eastern Sierra today (9-8-11 ).

“As of today, there are only a few yellow leaves popping up here and there. The aspens here at the resort are starting to lighten to a lime green as opposed to the deep dark green of summer. The willows along Green Creek behind the resort are turning golden, another sign that the beginning of the fall color season is in our near future.”
