The Kern Valley Hummingbird Celebration is at the Audubon Kern River Preserve at 18747 Highway 178 in Weldon, CA . on August 6, 2011 from 8 AM to 2 PM. The Southern Sierra’s Kern River Valley is one of the premier migration routes for six species of hummingbirds. There will be walks, talks and hummingbird observation at feeders.
