Beware Of Poodle-dog Bush

The LA Times has an article warning about the dangers of Poodle-dog Bush (Turricula parryi). Touching it can cause significant skin irritation including rashes, blisters and swelling.  It is a purple flowered plant that thrives after fires.  It is especially profuse this year in the Los Angles National Forest.  To read more go to:  Poodle-dog bush is poisonous, officials warn – Los Angeles Times.
