New Eastern Sierra Wildflower Information Resources

Here are three new resources for Eastern Sierra Nevada wildflower information and bloom reports

There is a new 48 page Eastern Sierra Wildflower Guide  that highlights some of the best spots to view wildflowers in the Eastern Sierra.  It is available for $1 at US Forest Service locations in the Eastern Sierra.

The Bristlecone Chapter (Eastern Sierra based in Bishop) of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) has started a Google Wildflower Hotspots group  and Facebook page that have information about wildflowers in the Eastern Sierra Nevada.  Here are links you can use to reach the sites even if you are not on Facebook (I’m not).

Google  Wildflower Hotspots page  or  http://bristleconecnps.org/native_plants/hotspots/group.php (you don’t need to be a member to get access to it)
