Yosemite Wildflower Bloom Update 7/20/11

Suzanne Swedo, director of W.I.L.D. Natural History Adventure reports:

” I was just in Yosemite, and the wildflowers are just wonderful…an exceptional year.  (I was in the Hetch Hetchy, Lake Vernon, Jack Main Canyon area.  The upper part of Jack Main Canyon trail is chest deep underwater.”

    I was up at Tahoe 7/14/2011-7/17/2011, and things are still blooming nicely (even adjacent to the snowfields). I have posted a gallery on my blog at http://calwildflower.wordpress.com/
