The Whales Are In Monterey Bay

Now is the time to see Blue Whales and Humpbacks in Monterey Bay

Plentiful supplies of plankton are attracting Krill and small fish to Monterey Bay.  Many Blue Whales, the largest animal on earth, and Humpback Whales have shown up to feed on the krill and fish.  In addition to the abundance of food sources, Whales have the ability to communicate with each other which helps explain the large turnout.
