The S. F. Chronicle reported that he California Condors have increased their range. For the second time they have been seen at Mt. Hamilton, which is the northern end of their historic range. There are 94 wild birds and they are usually found around the Pinnacles National Monument, the Big Sur Coast and the Los Padres National Forest. Condors have also begun to take exploratory flights in the southern Sierra Nevada. Condor experts believe that the birds extending their range to be positive sign.
