The high water content of this year’s snowpack could be very promising for summer wildflowers in the Sierra. Read more about it at SF Gate: Sierra snowpack readings promise abundant water. It does means an end to the most recent drought conditions. However, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue water conservation measures. With California weather patterns what they are, it is only a matter of time before we fact the next drought.
